This powerful chip allows you to control a stepper motor with a\nvoltage from 8 to 45V at 3Arms over an SPI connection. The AutoDriver board\nhas been designed to be easily integrated into a project, even with multiple\nboards. Just connect your motors and your SPI-capable microcontroller and get\nsteppin'! STMicro’s L6470 is a 3A, 8–45V bipolar stepper motor driver. It has\nbuilt-in overcurrent detection, undervoltage detection, overtemperature\ndetection, stall detection, a 5-bit ADC, and a switch input that can be used\nfor either user jog control or as a hard stop function. As if that weren’t\nenough, it also features microstepping support (up to 128 microsteps per full\nstep) and PWM drive voltage limiting. Please keep in mind that the L6470\nrequires a great deal more configuration and adds software complexity to your\nsystem. Unlike most stepper motor drivers, the dSPIN is controlled over an SPI\nlink. It has an onboard 16MHz oscillator, which allows it to autonomously\nexecute movement commands. That means no more counting steps in your code! It\nalso supports customized acceleration and deceleration profiles to prevent\njerky starts and stops. Onboard registers track current speed and location.\nThis new version of the SparkFun AutoDriver’s hardware is slightly different\nfrom the previous revision. It has been modified to make it easier to daisy-\nchain multiple boards together with simple 10-conductor ribbon cables for data\nand 6-conductor ribbon cables for control. The library has been updated as\nwell, with more information found in the Hookup Guide below. This board features an OpAmp to bring the output\nof the microphone to a usable level, allowing you to plug directly into an ADC\non a microcontroller or something like the SparkFun Spectrum Shield.In\naddition to amplifying the signal, the OpAmp adds a bias voltage of 1\/2 VCC.\nWith sound sources such as a normal speaking voice a few feet away from the\nmicrophone, the AUD output signal will be at about 200mV peak-to-peak. Also\nnote, this low profile microphone has its port on the bottom side, so the\nmicrophone can be mounted flush to the outer surface of your enclosure. This\nmicrophone is omni-directional, which means it does a good job of picking up\nsound sources from all directions. The SparkFun breakout board includes an\namplifier with a gain of 65 for the ICS-10480, which is more than sufficient\nfor the microphones. The amplifier's AUD output will float at one-half Vcc\nwhen there is no sound. Latch terminals provide instant\nsolder-less connections to every feature offered. Use our extensive compatible\nwith Arduino Library with 10 examples, and you can quickly explore the many\nfeatures of this precise and small package size motor driver IC.In addition to\nhigh resolution control (down to 1\/128th of a step), the ProDriver can be\ncontrolled via traditional clock-in stepping or serial commands. Each relay is rated to\n40A @ 28-380 VAC so with all four on board you can control some serious power\nall from the easy-to-use Qwiic Connect System. The kit requires no soldering\nbut there is some minor assembly required to attach the relays to the board\nand to connect your AC load. The ATTiny84 on the board comes pre-programmed to\naccept various commands to toggle all four relays. The I2C address of the\nATTiny84 is software configurable so so if you had the desire and power, you\ncould daisy chain over 100 Qwiic Quad Relays (but please be aware that\ntoggling lots of relays on a 3.3V bus can cause voltage spikes so an external\npower supply will be required)! In addition, the address jumper can be opened\nto switch the I2C address from 0x08 (Default) to 0x09 (Alternate).Messing with\nsuch high voltage is dangerous! This is a power accessory intended for users\nwho are experienced around, and knowledgeable about, high AC voltage. If\nyou're uncomfortable dealing with high AC voltage, that's okay! Also, for\nsmall loads (eg. 4-10A), air cooling should be sufficient but if you are\nsourcing more than that, a heat sink is highly recommended. Refer to the relay\ndatasheet for recommended heat sink dimensions.Note: The black standoffs and\n4-40 screws used to secure them shown in some of the photos are NOT included\nwith the kit. Check out the Hookup Accessories below if you would like to\ninclude some in your order.NOTE: The I2C address of the Quad Solid State Relay\nis 0x08 and is jumper select to 0x09 (software-configurable to any address).
