They work well with soft debris like waste but\r\nsmall hard debris can settle in the bottom of the valve seat\/slot and prevent\r\nit from closing completely. They can easily be cleaned or repaired by\r\nunbolting and replacing the seals or valve body. The handles simply unscrew\r\nfor easy replacement – if you do so be sure not to damage the valve shaft.\r\nExtension rods are available for remote actuation. The valve shaft is made of 304 stainless steel. Hardware is zinc plated\r\nsteel. It has a maximum pressure rating of 45 psi in the closed position, 30\r\npsi in the open position, and a mid-flow maximum closing pressure rating of 6\r\npsi. The maximum temperature rating is 205 degrees F (96 degrees C).
