RS422 Mutual Transfer TTL Bi-directional Signal Module Full Duplex 422 to Single Chip with Protection Circuit Status Indicator MAX490 to TTL Modules (Pack of 2)
RS422 Mutual Transfer TTL Bi-directional Signal Module Full Duplex 422 to Single Chip with Protection Circuit Status Indicator MAX490 to TTL Modules (Pack of 2)
Product description: This bi-directional full duplex RS422 to TTL signal module is an energy-saving RS-422 transceiver. Functions: The power indicator as well as the display for data transmission and reception provide a clear overview of the data status. The module has a 120 ohm terminating resistor, which effectively reduces echo interference during remote communication. Technical data: RS422 interface, bi-directional communication A, B, Y, Z transmission distance up to 1000 meters. The TTL side of the module is powered by DC 5V and is compatible with 5V logic signals. The module uses a high- quality MAX490 chip for excellent stability and a maximum communication speed of 2.5 Mbps. Module Dimensions: 50mm x 27mm x 1.4mm Weight: approx. 10g/unit Protection functions: The module has 15 kV ESD protection. It contains a TVS diode and is flash and shock resistant. A 10 ohm current limiting resistor protects the board from overcurrent. Operating principle: TTL to RS-422 (Send): The module converts the TTL signal (0V logically corresponds to 0.5V corresponds to logical 1) from the UART TX pin of the microcontroller to an RS-422 differential signal via the MAX490 chip (via the two wires A and B, the logic signal is transmitted via the voltage difference between them). RS-422 to TTL (receive): The module converts the received RS-422 differential signal into a TTL signal via the MAX490 chip and transmits it to the UART RX pin of the microcontroller. This differential transmission method effectively suppresses common mode interference, making it ideal for remote communication. Box contents: 2 x RS422-TTL Signal Module
