- Tips: It must be reversed every 1/4~1/2 turn to facilitate chip ejection from the chip hole. When tapping, suitable lubricating oil should be added to the cutting edge of the cutting plate. The rod diameter should be smaller (approx. 0.05 mm - 0.15 mm) as the nominal diameter of the required thread. Too large diameter can lead to difficult cutting and damage the cutting plate teeth.
