QUARKZMAN Conical Reamer 19 mm, M2 HSS Spiral Groove Bridge Reamer with 1/2 Inch Shank for Reaming Metal Alloys, Aluminium, Wood and Plastic Holes 3/4" x 1/2"
QUARKZMAN Conical Reamer 19 mm, M2 HSS Spiral Groove Bridge Reamer with 1/2 Inch Shank for Reaming Metal Alloys, Aluminium, Wood and Plastic Holes
M2 high speed steel reaming tools provide excellent wear resistance, toughness and heat resistance for long-lasting use. Without additional coating, they are suitable for a variety of applications. The cone reamer can align and enlarge pre-drilled holes to attach mounting bolts. The tapered reamer allows access to overlapping holes or enlarges precise tapered holes for a smooth, precise finish. The spiral grooves help to effectively remove chips when grating, prevent chip clogging, reduce heat generation and improve cutting performance. Taper reamers are used to precisely enlarge, align or finish existing holes in most metals, steel, alloys, copper, wood and plastic before installing rivets or bolts. They can be widely used in automotive/truck/trailer industry, construction, bridge construction and steel processing/installation. The machine reamer works with electric hand drills, lathes, drill presses and screw machines. Apply a cutting oil or lubricant to the reamer and workpiece. This helps reduce friction and heat build-up, extend tool life and improve surface finish. Make sure the workpiece is securely clamped to minimize movement. Note: A reamer is not a drill, it just aligns or enlarges a pre- drilled hole. Before using our cone reamers to enlarge the hole, there should already be a hole with a smaller diameter than the reamer. If chips become clogged in the chip grooves of the reamer, the cutting performance is affected.
