QUARKZMAN Adjustable Die M15 x 1.25 x 38.1 mm, Right Handed Thread Die, Black
QUARKZMAN Adjustable Die M15 x 1.25 x 38.1 mm, Right Handed Thread Die, Black
Metric taps are made of 6542 (M2) high-speed steel with high hardness and toughness, which ensures rigidity and stability during machining. They are wear-resistant, have high torque and excellent cutting performance, making them ideal for repair and maintenance work. Tapered locking hole, strong locking force, not easy to release. Grease surface to prevent rust, clear thread and easy maintenance. In addition, the tap is easy to use and can be used with the tap holder (also called tap handle or tap wrench). It should be reversed every 1/4 to 1/2 turn to facilitate the removal of chips through the chip removal hole. The tap is perfect for re-cutting existing threads in hard materials such as metal and creating new threads in soft materials such as plastic. Suitable for general thread processing of stainless steel, aluminum alloy, cast iron, copper, iron, aluminum and plastic. Ideal for maintenance and repair work on pipes, plates and machinery. When tapping, suitable cutting oil should be added to the cutting edge of the tap. The end of the rod should be equipped with a 1 x 45 degree chamfer to avoid excessive chamfering that makes cutting difficult. The diameter of the rod should be smaller than the required nominal diameter of the thread to avoid cutting difficulties that could damage the tap teeth.
