The stepper motor driver L293D is mainly made of durable carbide and plastic materials. The L293D is a monolithically integrated high-voltage, high- current, 4-channel motor driver designed to interface standard DTL or TTL logic levels to drive inductive loads (such as relay coils, DC and stepper motors) and switch power transistors and much more.
