PCA9685 16 Channel 12-Bit PWM Servo Motor Driver IIC Module for Arduino Robot Pack of 2
PCA9685 16 Channel 12-Bit PWM Servo Motor Driver IIC Module for Arduino Robot Pack of 2
Features: You want to build a robot. When we saw this chip, we quickly realized what an excellent add-on this would be. Control 16 free running PWM outputs with just two pins. I2C input, control the 16 PWM output, you can control the 16 way servo motor. Technical data: Frequency: 40-1000Hz Channel Number:16 Channel Resolution: 12bit Voltage: DC 5-10V Size: 60 x 25 mm. Colour: blue. Net weight: 12 g. Package includes: 2 x PCA9685 16-channel 12-bit PWM / servo driver I2C interface module.
Product Features
- With just two pins, you can control 16 free-running PWM outputs - even control up to 622 PWM outputs
- With an I2C controlled PWM driver with built in clock. Unlike the TLC5940 family, you do not need to continuously send signals that bind your microcontroller; it runs completely free!
- The PCA9685 chip is located in the middle of the card.
- 5V compliant. You can control it from a 3.3 V microcontroller and safely drive up to 6 V outputs (good for controlling white or blue LEDs with 3.4 + forward voltage)
- Adjustable frequency PWM up to approx. 1.6KHz, configurable push-pull output or open output.
- Prepare the 12-bit resolution for stepper motors, which means the update rate of 60Hz can reach 4us resolution.
