Nooelec Lana - Lna Module (Ultra-Low Noise Amplifier) for Radio and Software Defined Radio (SDR) with Housing and Accessories. Broadband 20MHz-4000MHz Frequency Capability with Bias Tee & USB Power Options
FOR FULL SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS PLEASE CHECK THE PRODUCT PAGE ON NOOELEC.COM LaNA is a very powerful broadband LNA module for general SDR applications. Each module offers 3 different power options, but you should only use one option at a time! The recommended power supply via the SMA output port (for bias - T - capable SDRs such as the NESDR SMArTee XTR) is 3V-5V DC. If you don't have a bias-T enabled SDR, you can alternatively use the external power options - the micro USB port or DC case port via the included DC Micro USB adapter. The recommended external power input is 3.3V to 5.5V DC. While LaNA has a surge protection circuit - and voltages of up to 12V DC should still work and not damage the device - it is not recommended for long-term use. Each LaNA module features internal EMI shielding to protect sensitive circuits from external interference and is fully ESD protected.
Product Features
- A broadband (20MHz - 4GHz) high-performance all-purpose LNA module installed in a high-quality aluminium housing
- Higher gain, lower noise, lower power consumption and better linearity than modules based on SPF5189Z and similar LNA MMICs
- Can be powered via a 3.3V-5V pre-voltage T-piece, USB or DC with the included adapter. A free SMA male to SMA male is also included
- Made in North America. 2-year support and service!
- NOTE: Some SDRs require a DC block between the LNA and SDR when using the external power supply options. Further information can be found on the product page or in the data sheet
