Hailege SPH0645 I2S MEMS Microphone Breakout Module SPH0645LM4H Microphone Module 1.6-3.6V for Arduino
Hailege SPH0645 I2S MEMS Microphone Breakout Module SPH0645LM4H Microphone Module 1.6-3.6V for Arduino
Description: This is a breakout board for a super small I2S MEMS microphone. Just like "classic" electret microphones, MEMS microphones can detect sound and convert it into voltage, but are much smaller and thinner. This microphone does not even have an analog output, it is purely digital. The I2S is a small, cost-effective MEMS microphone with a range of around 50Hz to 15kHz, suitable for virtually all general audio recording/recognition. With many microcontrollers, adding audio inputs is easy with one of our analog microphone breakouts. But when you get to bigger and better microcontrollers and microcomputers, you will find that you don't always have an analog input, or maybe you want to avoid the noise that can penetrate with an analog microphone system. If you have left the 8-bit mics behind, you will often find an I2S peripheral that can record digital audio! This is where this I2S microphone breakout comes into play. The microphone consists of a single mono element. You can choose whether it should be on the left or right channel by connecting the Select pin to the power supply or ground. If you need stereo, take two microphones with you! You can set them up as stereo by sharing the clock, WS and data lines, but having one with Select on ground and one with Select on high voltage. This I2S MEMS microphone has a bottom port, so make sure the hole at the bottom is facing towards the sounds you want to read. This is only a device with max. 1.6-3.6V, so not for use with 5V logic (it's really unlikely you would have a 5V logic device with I2S anyway). Box contents: 1 x SPH0645 I2S MEMS microphone breakout sensor board
