Adafruit Infrared Remote Control Transceiver, IR, STEMMA JST PH 2 mm, 940 nm Transmitter + 38 kHz Receiver, 5990
Adafruit Infrared Remote Control Transceiver, IR, STEMMA JST PH 2 mm, 940 nm Transmitter + 38 kHz Receiver, 5990
Are you looking for a versatile infrared solution? Our Adafruit infrared transceiver breakout provides both emission and reception of 940nm infrared data - all in one convenient, solderless package! Important information: This board is equipped with solderable breakout pads and a JST PH 4 pin cable. Note that it does not use I2C. The white cable is used to transfer data from a microcontroller to emission via IR LED, the green cable receives demodulated IR data. The black cable is ground, the red is 3V~5V power supply and logic level. Emitter Features: Built-in N-channel FET driver. Transmits 100mA-200mA for LED pulsation, range 10+ meters. One vertical and one horizontal LED for comprehensive coverage. Yellow IN LED flashes when IR LEDs are active. Receiver Features: Receives 38KHz, 940nm signals, ideal for remote controls. Demodulated IR data goes to your microcontroller. Second yellow OUT LED flashes when data is received. Each STEMMA board is fully assembled and tested, cables are sold separately. If you want to solder, there are 0.1 inch headers for power/ground/signals. Important note: This board is specially designed for receiving 940nm 38KHz IR remote control signals and not suitable for proximity/distance measurements or other frequencies. Make sure your microcontroller supports pulse input capabilities to decode the signals. Ready to take your project to the next level? Get our infrared transceiver breakout and get ready for easier and flexible IR communication!
