The ANO Rotary Encoder Wheel – your cool input device in iPod style! With this rotary encoder you get a real retro feel to your maker workplace. The encoder comes soldered on a practical breakout board - so you can get started right away! The pin assignment is now beautifully clear and breadboard-friendly. Highlights: Ready assembled ANO Rotary encoder on breakout board Easy connection with header strips. Reminiscent of the classic iPod scrollwheel click IMPORTANT: No pull-up/down resistors on the board - use the pins of your microcontroller. You need 7 GPIOs: 5 buttons + 2 rotary encoder pins. Two COM pins: mostly on GND for internal pull-ups Tip: In the example code, the COMs are addressed as GPIOs, but you can also simply place them directly on ground.
