Adhesive Open Reel Audio Recording real aluminum sensing foil for 1/4" open reel tape decks using sensing tabs (reflective or conductive) for reversing, stopping, or other deck functions. Made out of REAL aluminum, not inferior metalized plastic. Will add sensing to one end of over 120 tapes. Dimensions: .20" X 26 FT on 3" plastic core for easy handling. Foil has a backing material to prevent any glue from contaminating the foil's sensing surface. Very easy to use! Made in Europe. Helpful Hint: A new roll of this foil is shipped so the end of this tape can easily be separated from the backer. It's best to separate and remove the length of aluminum you need and leave some backer exposed so you can easily access the end of the foil in the future rather than cutting both the foil and the backer. In other words, if you need an inch, peel an inch of foil off the backer, and leave the inch of backer on the roll. We use a backer to keep the top surface of the foil free from adhesive.
