Aeroquip 1B16FLF16 Carbon Steel Global TTC12 (Thru the Cover) Crimp Hose Fitting Split Flange (SAE Code 61), 30 Degree Elbow, 1" Hose ID, 1" Nominal Flange Size
Aeroquip 1B16FLF16 Carbon Steel Global TTC12 (Thru the Cover) Crimp Hose Fitting Split Flange (SAE Code 61), 30 Degree Elbow, 1" Hose ID, 1" Nominal Flange Size
This Aeroquip global crimp hydraulic hose fitting is a 30-degree elbow, or "ell," for connecting a hose to pump at a 30-degree angle to change the direction of flow, with a crimp socket on one end that attaches to the hose, with no skiving necessary, and an SAE Code 61 split flange on the other end for connecting to a pump. This is an O-ring fitting used for large outside diameter (OD) hose, where a flange is tightened over an O-ring with clamps (not included) to form a seal. It is made of American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 12L14 carbon steel for tensile strength and hardness, coated with zinc for resistance to corrosion, and it has been machined to meet Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) standards. This fitting's Through-The-Cover (TTC12) crimping design allows for higher operating pressure and burst pressure as rigid teeth bite into the hose cover and connect with the spiral 4-wire braiding reinforcement of Aeroquip's high pressure hose to create a strong seal. It has a scribe line around the circumference of the socket to identify the location where the die cage is positioned for crimping. Assemble using Aeroquip variable crimp machines (not included). Pressure and temperature ratings are determined by the maximum working pressure for the hose size and type, as hose failure typically occurs first. This Aeroquip fitting is designed exclusively for Aeroquip hose for high pressure hydraulic applications, such as agriculture, airline, as well as municipal and industrial applications, among others. This fitting is compatible with the following Aeroquip hoses: FC636, FC659, FC736, and GH493.Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.Aeroquip, a subsidiary of Eaton, manufactures hose, fittings, adapters, couplings, and fluid connectors. The company, founded in 1939, is headquartered in Maumee, OH.
