The drive square at the end of the handle adds\nversatility when paired with a ratchet or a torque wrench, and has detent\ngrooves on all four sides. Wrench sizes with a 3\/8 inch drive square include\n3\/4–1-1\/2 inch and 19–38 mm. Wrench sizes with a 1\/2 inch drive square include\n1-9\/16–2-5\/8 inch and 41–50 mm. The center-to-center distance between the\ndrive square and the hex opening is engraved on the handle for quick reference\nwhen using the service wrench as a torque adapter. Our service wrench jaws are\nmuch leaner than our standard combination wrenches, with 33% to 46% less jaw\nthickness (depending on the size). The tip of each jaw has a 10-degree lead-in\ntaper that helps align the wrench with the hex flats when visibility is\nlimited. We make our service wrenches from 4140 chromium molybdenum steel and\nharden them to 50–53 HRC. The wrenches are abrasive-blasted to create a finely\ntextured satin finish and then plated with corrosion-resistant nickel that is\neasy to wipe clean.
