The body is made of polybutylene\nterephthalate (PBT) and Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) C3604 brass that is\nelectroless nickel plated for corrosion resistance, the threads are made of\nnickel plated C3604 brass, and the tube seals are made of nitrile butadiene\nrubber (NBR) for resistance to oils and extreme temperatures. An NBR O-ring\nallows the body to rotate in the threaded stud for positioning. A chuck and\ncollet provide secure retention of tubing, and the release button allows\ntubing to be removed with little force. The fitting can be used with nylon,\nsoft nylon, polyurethane, fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), and\nperfluoroalkoxy (PFA) tubing.
