The body is made of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and\nJapanese Industrial Standard (JIS) C3604 brass for corrosion resistance, the\nthreads are made of C3604 brass, and the tube seals are made of nitrile\nbutadiene rubber (NBR) for resistance to oils and extreme temperatures. The\nUni threads are compatible with female British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT),\nBritish Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP), National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT), and\nNational Pipe Thread Taper Fine (NPTF) threads, and the fitting is sealed\nagainst a standard chamfer with an NBR laminated stainless steel 304 gasket.\nAn NBR O-ring allows the body to rotate in the threaded stud for positioning.\nA chuck and collet provide secure retention of tubing, and the release button\nallows tubing to be removed with little force.
