It absorbs into the scar side in seconds instead of being brittle on top. The particularly high percentage of abrasive grain works from the first movement: burr is removed, the micro saw of the cutting edge is smoothed. The ultra-high tolerance of the particles comes from our in-house micro-sieve process that sorts out plus and undersizes - even grain instead of individual scratches. And very economical: around 1-2 g per 100 cm2 is sufficient, a tin of 100 g is sufficient for about 50 to 100 applications.\u003c\/li\u003e\n         \u003cli\u003eCares for the leather: beeswax and real lanolin make the paste a leather care at the same time  the leather-friendly formula maintains the naturally supple surface of your puller straps instead of drying out and hardening them. Hard blocks clog pores and leave the strap board like over time; a well-groomed strap stays elastic and lasts years longer. Side effect you feel immediately: the paste increases the pull of the blade on the leather. This resistance gives you control over angle and pressure - and that's exactly what results in a consistent, cleaner result.\u003c\/li\u003e\n         \u003cli\u003eGrain 2000, approx. 4-5 microns: this can is the middle stage - pre-finish and smoothing the cutting edge. Four grits form the full scale: 2000 medium, 5000 fine, 8000 very fine, 12000 ultra-fine; 2000 is at the beginning of the chain. The particle size of approx. 4-5 m is the number at which you can compare steps. Suitable for kitchen and outdoor knives, for razors, chisels, plane irons, axes and carving tools - wherever there is still a lack of fine work on the cutting edge after the stone. If the cutting edge is still rough after the stone, start here and then go finer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n         \u003cli\u003eNot only on leather: the paste works on wool, felt, sisal, cotton, canvas and linen and fits on buffing discs and polishing discs as well as on the straps. High gloss is not only achieved on stainless steel blades, but also carbon steel, aluminium, copper, bronze, brass, gold and silver; polish jewellery by hand with a cloth or the enclosed leather applicator. How to use: apply sparingly with light, fast movements until the material dyes. Then peel off the blade until the paste spreads as a thin layer on the strap. Heating is unnecessary; if you want deeper absorption, you can use a hair dryer for a short time.\u003c\/li\u003e\n         \u003cli\u003eBox contents and limits: you will receive 100g red premium paste in the resealable aluminium tin with screw lid - it won't dry out - plus a round genuine leather applicator with a baked logo. Made in Poland, i.e. in the EU. Important to know: this is the last step, not a substitute for the stone. A blunt or broken edge gets the whetstone first, the paste refines and polishes an already sharp blade.
